Construction of the Taoyuan Canal irrigation system facilitated the management of irrigation facilities and irrigation water allocation of Lateral Canals 6, 7 and 8-1 of Taoyuan Canal.

Location: The original and current address is No. 128, Neicuozi, Neighborhood 16, Neicuo Village, Zhongli City.
Building and land: it was self-owned land during the period of Japanese rule (land plot number 199, Neicuozi Sub-section, Dalun Section, Zhongli City, covering an area of 270.12m²). The self-built Japanese-style wooden house is 165m² in size. In 1963, a one-story concrete office (building floor area 93.02 m²) was built. In 1978, a 2-story concrete brick office was constructed (building floor area 88.55 m²).
When it was first established, the workstation managed 30 storage pools and 12 river weirs from Lateral Canals 6, 7, 8-1 of Taoyuan Canal, and had an irrigation area of 1,957 hectares. In 1979, as a result of the building the Dayuan Expanded Industrial Zone, factories, residences and apartments, and the optimal utilization of return water, the number of irrigation facilities and irrigation area within the jurisdiction changed. Currently, there are 30 storage pools, 38 river weirs and an irrigation area of 1,822 hectares.
