Introduction
Located in Yuemei Village, Zhongli District, this pond dates back to the Qing Dynasty era. Also known as "Luocuo Big Pond," it was named after a nearby settlement of the Luo family, which consisted of 10 households. The pond irrigates about 180 hectares and has a storage capacity of approximately 15.6 hectares (480,000 tons), serving over 400 households. It is the largest pond on the seventh lateral canal and is classified as a nationally important wetland by the Ministry of the Interior, benefiting a total area of about 140 hectares.
